Message	that they buy low and sell high, but they have no license, and they don't want the vehicle to ever be in their name. If they are smart, they get the title signed, but without their name on it, then put your name on it when you buy. He may not be trying to screw you, just trying to operate under the radar for his own purposes. Problem is, though ... he lied to you. Not a good sign. I tend to walk from these deals. I think TriniTT is right, the title now has go through him, but I suggest that you ask your DMV tomorrow.
